International rescue effort brings 130 young footballers and their families to London after Taliban takeover

The Taliban took over Afghanistan last August. From that time onwards, the 'land of Kabuliwala' was plunged into darkness. The jihadists initially promised to soften. But as time went on, it became clear that the Taliban were in the Taliban. The rush to flee the country naturally fell on the Afghans. The female players of the country fell into the most panic. At that time, the players of the Afghan women's football team left the country with their families. Finally, after so long, they were able to reach London. Popular US star Kim Kardashian came forward to rescue them.

A total of 130 players, including 35 players and their families, arrived at Stansted Airport in east London on Thursday. They have been hiding in Pakistan for so long. I had to spend months on a temporary visa. The result was growing panic. In this situation, Kim managed to take them to London.

For now, they have to stay in a hotel quarantine for 10 days. Only then will their new life begin. Kim is fascinated by the way those footballers managed to escape the Taliban's bloodlust.

The Taliban, meanwhile, said after the occupation of Afghanistan that girls' football was not being banned. However, they will not be allowed to play football in public. If you have to play, you have to play behind the scenes.

Panic has gripped ordinary Afghans since the beginning of the Taliban's occupation of Afghanistan. However, women are suffering from insecurity the most. After nearly two decades of democracy, Afghanistan is once again shrouded in the black cloud of fundamentalism. And the fear is that the Taliban will provide severe punishment only if girls above 12 years of age are educated.

The jihadists have banned the entry of both female teachers and students in schools and universities. It has also come down on women in the workplace. Along with the bloody eyes of the fatwa, there are also issues like economic catastrophe. The United Nations estimates that at least 22 million of Afghanistan's 40 million people are suffering from severe food shortages.
