In Khapariyawan Panchayat of Katkamdag block, the dispute between the rural and electricity department of Khapariyawan escalated over the electricity department carrying 33 thousand volt wire among the dense population. On receiving this information, Sadar MLA Manish Jaiswal reached Khapariyawan. Tried to find a solution by talking to both the sides. There is resentment among the villagers due to this attitude of the electricity department.

The MLA tried to solve it by talking to both the sides, but the talks could not be successful. He said that it is not appropriate to carry 33,000 volt power cables from anywhere in the midst of a dense population.

The MLA said that he will again hold talks with the General Manager of the Electricity Department on Monday regarding this serious matter. Khapariyawa Panchayat chief Manju Mishra, MLA representative Ajay Kumar Sahu, Ramkishore Sawant, Vikas Mishra, Ranjan Chowdhury were present on the occasion.
