Railways exam protest: Patna's Khan Sir
Bihar was engulfed in violence on January 26 over corruption in railway recruitment. The test takers caused incidents like setting fire to the train and vandalizing the railway property. This time, youtuber Khan Sir was accused of providing support to the violence in Patna. Police have registered an FIR against 'Khan Sir' based on the statements of the detained candidates.
In an interview, Khan Sir said that if he had any role in the violence, he should be arrested. However, he blamed the Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) for the violence.
Who is this Khan sir?
Khan Sir is known for his strange teaching techniques and is very popular. Among the students he is better known as 'Khan Sir'. He never made his name public. As a result, even the students do not know his real name. However, some sources claim that Khan Sir's real name is Amit Singh. Another source says that Khan Sir's real name is Faizal Khan. A resident of Gorakhpur, Uttar Pradesh.
Why does he never reveal his real name? One person claimed that all the students at the coaching center run by Khan Sir were strictly instructed not to share his real name or personal number. Some students started calling him Khan Sir. Since then he has been everyone's 'Khan Sir'. But Khan Sir Naki has said one thing to everyone, "When the time comes, you will know my real name."
Khan has a master's degree in science from Allahabad University. His father was a soldier. Mother is a housewife. One of his grandfathers is a commando in the army. It is known that Sir Khan is good at studying since childhood. Passed the NDA exam. But was not elected. Currently coaching in Patna. He also has a YouTube channel.
On January 15, the Railway Recruitment Board released the results of the first stage of the Non-Technical Popular Category (NTPC) examination or CBT-1 (Computer Based Test). It was informed that the examination of CBT-2 will start on 15th February. The protests started soon after. Candidates complained that when the notification of that exam was published in 2019, only CBT-1 was mentioned at that time. But after the results were announced, Rail announced CBT-2. Which is against the rules. Behind this there is corruption and irregularities of the railway officials. Through Bihar, the protests spread to different parts of Uttar Pradesh.
