The 115-foot-high, eight-foot-long floating swimming pool was inaugurated at great expense. This time the much-studied swimming pool is about to close.
The floating swimming pool has been built in a luxury area of South Bank of London. This swimming pool has been a major tourist attraction since its inception. But now the authorities want to stop it. Why?According to them, huge amount of electricity is being consumed to keep the pool water warm. One crore 51 lakh rupees has to be paid annually. Which is not possible for them. So they have to decide to close this pool.
